Lakh-Pati For A Week

We went to the market. Asked for some stationery items. Paper reams, pens, pencils, ruler, markers, glue, folders, calculators, scissors etc.. The list got over. I am worried. I wanted to buy more for I had more money than was actually needed. Yes I had to spend 4 k on stationery and that too in a single day. It happens sometimes that we have funding and it goes back to the funding agency unutilized.

Next monday happens to be the last day for using up all the money. Guess what, there were guys discussing whole day as to how to spend Rs. 1.5 lakhs in a week. Taking notes on which one would come under which head and so on. Consumables, equipments, TA - DA, running cost.

I have the responsibility of buying a weigh balance within this week. I need to work hard to get the quotations, run around to get the right person and the right thing. Finally get all the bills submitted on time. It is a mountain of a task especially when you have a time bound.
